Sweet Thing/Art of Musicology

I was just watching this and I was wondering what cd that song is on?

I have never heard it before.....Everyone in the audience knew it though.

It's a Rufus song with Chaka Kahn on vocals. It was released in 1975. The credits say Rufus played all the instruments except the horns.

Welcome to some groovy music. Pick up a Rufus and Chaka best of cd. Lots of good tunes like Sweet Thing and Tell Me Something Good amongst others. Prince used to play Sweet Thing often at European Aftershows in the mid 90's, As well as on the Musicology Tour. He used to back up Chaka on it also when they were promoting the Newpowerpack (NPG/Chaka Kahn/Graham Central Station) albums in 98.

Sounds as if Lois likes "Erotic City". Somebody also like "Darling Nickki". That's cool, when People really like Music, for the fun of it. Records and Films, are better than any board game. Yet a Music Board Game, is not a bad ideal. We should all create it together.

ha ha ha ha ha ha. you know what i like about you people? your real. you do not do a bunch of arguing, or cutting each other with evil words. i'm glad your nice to each other, and to me. also, i think its groovy, how you use your brains, and how you respect each other, while respecting records and films.

ya'll like spegetthi? i'm gonna make some now. so it will be ready next time hungry shows growling. cereal is good too. especially with ice in it.

Mary J Blige remade "Sweet Thing" though, so younger people knew it from that....for the R & B fans
