noon rendezvous i just heard the sheila version for the first time the other day. she sings it beautifully, but the castinet effect annoys me! anyway...i can't find the prince rehearsal anywhere on my computer...i would so dearly love to hear it again...i have a burning desire to hear it...isn't it the most beautiful?

it's mainly a rehearsal we are talking about. to my knowledge there is only one good version he did of it (I have the horrible live version he did later on).
i did have one of those celebration recordings where sheila sang it live. but this is the most glorious outtake/rehearsal ever...intoxicating! and i can't find it anywhere it has been going through my noggin for days! helpppp! dr. orgnotealot (that's a real dr.!) [Edited 4/26/06 19:43pm]

Sheila needs a best of compilation! I would love to hear Noon Rendezvous (my favorite Sheila E. jam) along with Holly Rock, A Love Bizarre, Wednesday Like A River, Hold Me, Glamourous Life, Koo Koo, Belle Of St. Mark, Next Time Wipe The Lipstick Off Your Collar, Paradise Garden & Bed Time Story

The official release on Sheila's The Glamorous Life is clearly an edit.
It ommits the "sitting in a cafe waiting for my baby" outro. . "You don't frighten us, English pig dogs. Go and boil your bottoms, sons of a silly person."
