Everyone is trying to guess what Prince's wife Mani is, my guess is she's black. Judging from the pictures that I've seen she definitly looks black to me. Yes she maybe lights-skinned or perhaps brown-skinned, but so is he does that him less black? As we all heard a million times we come in all shades and hair texture. I have family darker than me and some are lighter does that mean that one person is less black than the next? Considering where Prince's emotoional, spiritual, and mental is at right now, I would say yeah Mani is black, with Prince enbracing his history and consciousness( which I must say I love and respect him more for) she would have to be. Or is Prince discussing an African-American marriage in "Family Name" my imagination?
Why is it than Manuela Testolini/Nelson can be anything but black, then what is Lenny Kravitz? Black, right? Prince had dated plenty of black women, I guarantee there are some that we don't know about. Don't start seperating black women because of their complexion, if she's black, she's black case closed. Why are we going to listen to other people's definition of what black is? Didn't they write the rules on if you have a drop of black blood you're black? And by the way, if Prince is telling you he is black why are you deciding whether he's right or not? Prince look/is black just like his wife look/is black.
