It probably ain't the wisest choice for the single, but it could still do well. I wouldn't say it has no fire, it's still alright, although obviously it doesnt have shit on the SNL version. Just take it as one of those songs that will be best performed live. If P does perform this summer, Fury will go down well. If Fury was out out as a single and a tour coincided, it would probably do better.

The studio version sounds really good to me now... someone said in another thread that it sounds best very loud, and I almost destroyed my car speakers the other day with it.

I really think that if 3121 had come out before the SNL performance, more people would love the mix (...then of course would have lost their damn minds when SNL came on).

It's not the only song he's done that sounds a lot better live... not by a long shot. I mean, how many songs has he completely rearranged on tour? I think he was just doing justice to a brilliant arrangement with the necessary guitar fire to make it pop live and on TV.

It's a shame that people ended up hating on the studio version just because the live version was so excellent.

I got 3121 about a week or so later than most everyone else here, so I had read numerous complaints about the studio version of "Fury". I had very low expectations but I was pleasantly surprised.

However, I don't think it will do well on the charts, but like someone else said, not because it isn't a great song.

am I the only one who thinks that "Love" should be a single?
