Were Prince And MJ working together in '92

I just watched Remember the Time and The Seven Videos and noticed
that P and MJ both got in to the whole egyptian thing especailly because it was the same year.

Does anyone think that they worked together or one copied of the other (i would not blame niether one of them for copying) confused
