I think the point here with regards to Housequake is that kids shouldn't be swearing per se. At 8 or 9 years old they have no understanding of the sexual connotations anyway.

Oh yeah, believe me - I was sweatin' it out in the old days, fearful that one of my kids would put on "Let's Pretend We're Married". But then came the iPod and that solved all my problems. I only burned the songs they can listen to on their iPods. Then I told them that any other songs on CDs were off-limits unless they asked Dad first.

I do NOT shield my kids from cuss words. It's a part of the REAL world....but that is just me.

Why anyone would want to ruin a great song is completley beyond me. This is the way the song was intended to be heard. If anyone truly believes that bullshit is a nasty word, you got bigger problems than you know.

Click the "Advanced" button on the top of the window that appears.

No one is qualified to make any judgements on how one person chooses to raise their own child, so let's drop that. The original poster wanted help creating a clean version of Housequake, not our opinions on what his child should or shouldn't be listening to.

Thanks to Boris, BTW...I had completely forgotten about the clean version of Housequake on the 7" U Got The Look single. To that point, everyone complaining about the original poster's desire to create this effect can just lay off since Prince himself released a version of the song with the same effect.
