Are you serious? I bought that thing for the 3rd disc! WHEW!!! Thank you, Cornerman. I almost passed out when I read that! LOL! I love that "God" is on there, but I would have loved to have " or $" as well... It's not that I really MIND "God" as much as if I wanted to listen to it I'd pull out the '45 and slap it on the turntable. I want to listen to " or $" all the time! I was really happy when I put all my 12" on disc and could hear it whenever I wanted.

Those are two of my favorites from those records right out the plastic! I'm glad you picked up on them cause they are shit. IstenSzek said: "The Everlasting Now"
Nice funky song, but the chorus is lame. I just cringe whenever that chorus comes up and quickly skip the track. There's just something about that whole TRC album that makes me feel uncomfortable to say the least. I feel the same way about TRC. Music is great, but I didn't listen to crap like "Petra" and "Michael W. Smith" for a reason, I don't need Prince re-writing their lyrics.

Actually, (you're all going to hate me for saying this. lol.) But "The Everlasting Now" could be seen as offensive to a lot of Christians. It takes a common blessing that re-inforces the trinity and takes that beliefe right out. Original would be (as many of us have heard) "In the name of the Father, in the name of the Son, in the name of the spirit, the three in one." For him to replace that last line is to deny that it should be there... but that's just something I noticed. I don't care what Prince wants to believe.

Are you serious? I bought that thing for the 3rd disc! I'm glad you're getting into it now. It's completely worth it. 200 Balloons! Hell yeah! If he would've just left off "God" and left on " or $" and "Horny Pony" it would've been perfect. Amen to that. Can't undersand why he left off Love or Money. 'revolution get the groove on the bus...' a gem.

When I was in high school I always used to skip 'Insatiable' I can't remember why. I guess I just never gave it a chance and I probably listened to my then fav songs over and over again instead.

"Dark" from Come is a far better song than i thought at first.
Also "Slow Love" on SOTT has really taken its time to grow on me but i wouldn't be without it now.

I never skip a song because I don't like it. the only reasons I've ever skipped a song, was either when I first bought the album and wanted to hear samples to get the idea of what kind of album it is, or when I wanted to hear a certain song. but all songs get their time with me.

for me:

...and one song that I will always skip is "Lemon Crush".

The Come album: Letitgo and Dark are jams!
Mr. Happy: It comes in so hard, the beat bumps the speakers! Annie Christian: The guitar solo, behind the vocals and keyboards, is one of Prince's best! Bill Jack Bitch: Once I found out who it was directed to, it made the song more funny The Rainbow Children: I liked it alot at first, but when I heard it live, it made each song after that even better. I Wish U Heaven: Grew on me, I love it now. The Ladder: I always skipped by it, now I repeat it. That's about all, I'm sure they'll be more... Blue Cashmere Don't Play Me Blue
