What the freak is going on? This is strange - even for him. The last time he was seen in public was at Tower Records in LA at midnight the morning 3121 was released. Then he gets what he (and anybody) wants, a #1 album!!! Then what occurs to continue the momentem? What tour announcements? What TV appearances??? What Ellen/Oprah performances? Nothing. Maybe he is pissed at Universal for the album leaking.
I hope he is in rehearsals for a World tour though. Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

Yeah. He had a hissy fit. Well, if what Nigel Lythgoe said is true, Prince couldn't do the show 'because he was simply too busy' to do more than a single appearance. Most people think that is because he is practising for the tour - I always find that hard to believe, he works with talented people who will pick up stuff quickly, and of course he hardly needs to rehearse himself. A few weeks of rehearsal, yes, but he doesn't need months without a break! According to Tamar's site, her CD has been delayed 'due to technical reasons' so perhaps Prince is busy re-doing it? | |

It is also odd to not see his reviews in any magazines. I saw a few like Rolling Stone and Entertainment Weekly but where are the rest? Why isn't he on the cover now? Why does Fury come out at the end of next month? It all seems like odd marketing strategies to me. | |

He had PLENTY of reviews just before the album came out, why would he be on covers NOW when the album has dropped down the charts and he's not even giving interviews?
