Prince back in business

I was just wondering do any of you out there think Prince will ever come back as a trend? Im mean not that he's not one of the very few singers with actual talent but do u think he'll ever be the new 'it thing'?

I dunno-it seems in the last 2 years he has come close. With "Musicology" and "3121", people have come out of the woodwork around me with a new or renewed interest in Prince and his music.

My question is: Besides Purple Rain, when was Prince ever really the trendy 'it thing'? My view is that he's always been a bit too far ahead and a bit too out there to be trendy to the masses.

Exactly plus Prince will not "play" the game by the "rules".
