Sooo much better back in the day Remember the excitment you felt back in the day...the anticipation...the infectious energy....the sense of discovery? Envelopes weren't just stretched they were ripped apart! Alas, the best we can expect now is a pale imitation of past glory...dull....lifeless....unoriginal. I guess thats life though, nothing lasts forever. Of course maybe its me, perhaps I've become tired and jaded - impossible to impress...I'll concede that that might be a factor but....I dunno....I can't escape the feeling that there's some truth in what I'm saying.....org posts about how much better things were in the old days just aren't as good as they used to be. Life is short enough as it is...not enough time to cover all the ground, so if you lose your sense of discovery start looking in new places. It's all in the outlook. The past always seems pretty.

Measure it against itself and all the moments will be new and exciting. You're right "nothing stays the same"...so you must grow too. Put out a new set of feelers and you will find that the energy is still there.
I think we're talking about music here... either way, a new outlook works with music and all things. Why do you like playing around with my narrow scope of reality? - Stupify

Another day, another thread about this. Part of it surely is you being older. Simple as that. [Edited 4/16/06 4:48am]

The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

If you'' excuse me I'm off to look for a Prince fan with a sense of irony.....anyone got the number for Outer Mongolian Airways? You post a lethargic message about lost glory and you expect sharp irony in return?
