whats happening April 17th?

About a month ago my mum told me they said on the radio that there was going to be some big Prince related announcement on UK radio on April 17th (possibly Radio 2) does anyone have any idea what this could be and which station it is happening on? thanks.

there were murmurs that Prince is gonna do a live show on radio 2 and theyd confirm it around that time I think ?
