Great song, great lyrics (the Berlin lyric is OK as far as I´m concerned), and it´s always good to hear Michael B and Sonny again.

I like the line about the scared butterflies dancing in your belly.
" I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

Nope. Prince tries too hard on this song and falls flat "like the wall of Berlin."

I can dig it. However, I don't think he's "trying" at all because it sounds like he as jamming wit' his Folks and having fun. Besides the simple lyrics (which he has sung before plenty o' time), somebody tell me this ain't a sincere funk workout with brothas flexin' they chops.

I love it. It's a great album starter. My 3 year old daughter bops around and sings along to it too.
If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

Every time I look in my closet to get dressed, I get that line stuck in my head:

Take yo pick from the Japanese roooobes and sandaaaalsss

I don't know why, the way he delivers that pimp line is crazy funny to me. I love it.

I don't think it will replace 1999 as the classic Prince party jam anytime soon...

Can't stand it.....don't see the point of it at all...theres no structure to the tune which wouldn't bother me if it was a decent groove...but its not.....sounds like something I threw together on the sequencer once after about 37 beers.....hey...I'm gonna sue that little bastard!

The "japanese robes and sandals" line I can't take seriously because it reminds of a Tenacious D song I have on CD somewhere....something about Kyle and JB coming in through the "sidehatch" and using "oils and perfumes".

This is the best thing I've heard from Prince in a mighty long time. "Wall of Berlin" line and all.

One of the weaker tracks on what is frankly a fairly weak album, and not a strong title track at all - more boring than anything.
