The worst is Animal Kingdom. Is someone, execpt the nutty vegheads, going to tell me they like this song? News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so. You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.

You CANNOT be serious!!!!! Adore is sacred. In times past, this kind of blasphemy would get you killed. I'm testing postive 4 the funk

The rest of your post is just pure nonsense, but this is a sage observation. Personally, I believe the symbol album to be simply unlistenable due to a whole host of dud songs, none more so than "3 chains", and so I completely forgot about it. Yes, 3 chains is right up there. I think my elite pair would be Graffiti Bridge and 3 Chains of Gold. I'm testing postive 4 the funk

You can't seriously prefer Diamonds and Pearls to Adore .... ...AND call yourself a "Prince fan" !! Adore IS a sacredd song. It's a brilliant song and in no way is it a sugary ballard. It's possible to dislike something you know is not the worst just like it's possible to like something you know is the worst. In my own case, I believe I actually dislike the worst song Prince has ever committed to a shiny surface :
1999, the New Master in which our hero repeatedly tortures and rapes his own classic song.

Welcome to the Adore-Dislikers Club. You are member #4 or 5, by my count... (There may be more of us who are scared to come out, though). I didn't list Adore on this thread cause I don't *hate* it, but I definitely don't like it either. I agree it's too sugary and to me, that makes it seems insincere. Not a big fan of D&P, Damn U, Condition of the Heart, Sometimes it Snows in April, etc...see the pattern? In general, I just don't like Prince ballads. I prefer the funk. The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

However, I knew that one was so bad I never listened to it. I think I listened to a clip of it and thought "what shit" then ran away. News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.

I know people are gonna jump down my throat for this but I so didn't get "Most Beautiful Girl in the World". Sorry it just didn't do it for me, and worse still what totally narked me was that it went to No.1 over here in the UK. All those years without a No.1 here, and all the bitching about him that I encounter from the majority of people I meet when I tell them I'm a fan, such as:
"You like Prince? Isn't he gay?" "You like Prince? Why? He's a dwarf isn't he? (what the f*** does any of this have to do with anything?) ...and then these same random people go out and buy THAT song and get it to number 1. Why I ask?? Granted, a lot of his stuff isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I swear over the years he's released tracks over here in the UK that were more deserving of the Number 1 slot than that! Post that song, I STILL encounter the same bitching about his dress/height/sexuality, but with the add-on of...."He ain't done nothing good for years apart from Purple Rain and that Most Beautiful Girl in the World song". How anyone can compare these two songs is beyond me. I Love Purple Rain, just don't get Most Beautiful. Don't get me wrong - I don't hate it, I just don't understand why so many other people obviously thought it was so special. Hey maybe next time I meet one of those narrow minded nutters I'll ask them to fll me in on why it's such a great song!
