Thanks Prince

Thanks Prince for making such creative, inventive, original and wonderful music over the years. It has been a pleasure following your twists and turns, you definately are your own person, unique in many ways. I don't think I'd follow anyone's careers with the intensity I have followed yours since 1983 if you did not exist. Keeping making music and expanding your horizons, I think it will bring pleasure in the future to many. Continue not to be afraid of dropping experiments here and there, making instrumental music, and conducting business as you see fit, even if it means making your own rules

Thanks again Purple buddy

I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

I'm just wondering if it would have more sense to post this message on his official site insead of some half-assed fan site?

And I'm wondering how much sense it makes to piss on a nice thread regardless of where it's posted.

Back on topic: I'm full-assedly grateful for Prince's music and the effect it's had on my life, particularly during some tough times for me. Yay Prince!

This is one of the nicest posts I've ever seen on the Org. It's not psychotically fanatical, just real. I can't see myself devoting as much time to one artist other than Prince, either. And you touched on the bottom line: no matter what new directions he takes in his music, and no matter how much hateration it generates, at the end of the day it will "bring pleasure to many." I'm glad to be one of them.

Thanks for this post, runningbear.

Thanks for nothing.
News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so.

I agree. It was a SANE message of appreciation. I'd almost forgotten what that sounded like.

Thank You, I pride myself in my sanity most days! It's too bad we are not able to all gang up on Mick and give him a big prince.org group hug
