Hey Prince - SELL IT ON ITUNES NOW!

Why is he waiting? Why is this record still not available for sale online? He sold singles from the record, why is the record not for sale?

No, I refuse to buy the actual record. His album art went in the shitter as soon as he started doing it himself. Crystal Ball? 9th grader with photoshop could do that. Emancipation? We're talking 6th grader. Musicology? Horrid.

So, I don't need the cover art - just the songs. I'll pay.

NPGMC has stated that they aren't interested in making entire albums available on Itunes.

Because they are available for download at the NPGMC.
News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so.

Pretty sad... There's a whole, sizable, consumer segment of the population that he's missing out on now. The NPGMC certainly isn't remotely as visible to the general public and is pretty much just selling to the choir.

Oh ye of little faith. The album's only been out a few weeks, and while I, too, would like to see it on itunes before the next millenium, I think it's a little too soon for all this worrying about missed oppotunities to promote 3121.
It reminds me of when Te Amo Corazon was released. Some people thought that was the end of Prince.
I'll admit it's been awfully quiet on the Prince front for a guy who debuted at number one, but if Prince did things the way he was supposed to do 'em, he wouldn't be Prince.
I have a feeling 3121 is going to be very successful. Then again, every year I say the Raiders are going to the Superbowl. wink

Okay, step back, and breathe.

He's alREADY selling songs from the album on iTunes. Add the other 8 songs, and cut me a deal!

Okay, I broke down and bought it at Target today - on sale, $11.98.
