Got mine about an hour ago in Virgin Mega at the Block in So Cal. I went straight for the Prince section but didnt see it. A worker there saw me looking at said "Let me guess, your looking for Ultimate Prince? I said yes and he told me wait right there. He went to the back of the store and brought out one for me. He told me about it was pulled last minute and that they were still able to sell them as an import. It wasnt shrink wrapped for some reason but he still sold it to me for $30. I'm listening to it right now and it sounds awesome! Go get one if you can. | |

Considering gettin it, but ive got the Hits and B sides and have heard the most of the mixes on the 2nd disc, if the price is right i will consider a bit more! $30 for one cd ive already got, and the other i have heard the most of i dont think i can b bothered wasting my money on it....especially when i dont have a steady job! I just heard on 93.9 FM out of Windsor, I believe, that they have three copies of Ultimate Prince to give away! I was kind of surprised about that, being that the cd set was supposedly canceled and all. | |

I still don't get why fans were so up in arms to get it. It's such a dull, routine hits package.

It sure is, ordered one yesterday although I don't hold out any hope of actually getting it  .
Interstingly they had it listed twice and one was shown as out of print. They both had different release dates too  .
Just checked order and it says, "Some / all items have been placed on special order with our suppliers", which doesn't sound too promising. [Edited 4/6/06 5:41am] RIP | |
