Wow. I'm an agnostic. But I've read the Bible several times and thought everyone (even heathens like yourselves) knew 'the Word' was synonymous with God and the Bible. 
You havent' heard preachers telling people to read and hear the word (short for the word of God). Also see the gospel of John. It's even been corrupted in popular culture with people saying "my word!" instead of "my god!" | |

The WORD is another way of referring to "the word of God", which is

Of course its about religious text or teachings, I am not a religious person, but I find it beautiful, the music and someone proclaiming their excitation and inspiration over something as optimistic as getting saved!
Yes some of the lyrics are a bit corny, but I feel his passion, which is nice. It won’t convert me to Jehovah, but I don’t really think it’s meant to specifically target one religion over another, which is also nice. | |
