Has everyone seen this and signed?

http://www.petitiononline...ition.html

It's a petition to get Purple Rain released on dvd with a whole bunch of special features. The current version of the dvd is painfully empty. Sign up!

I do beleive it was started by one of our very own but it is good of you to put it back up for those who missed it the first time around. I wonder if I can sign again?

PS You know I could probably throw a rock from my home and it would land in your back yard? How you like it down there? I've been thinking of buying some land there but I am afraid it would be too isolated from mainstream.

Lots of love to you all.

Yeah. And so was the golden age of Jazz, including the era of Ellington, Armstrong, Herman and all those greats.

It does not mean 'Purple Rain' has been made obsolete by the passage of time. I for one would definitely like to see a DVD version of the film with all the extra features Warner Bros can muster.

If the Purple Rain era was a lot of fun then why wouldnt U want to re-live it???
Purple Rain and everything it stood for has a special place in all our hearts.

Thats like saying I ate a particular brand of Strawberry Ice Cream that was incredibly gorgeous many years ago...and not allowing yourself to eat it again.

It could only be Häagen-Dazs.

maybe I misread that. I'm into Purple Rain and the other movies, etc being released on dvd (I guess I thought they were already)

I thought this petition idea was to get WB to issue new dvds with special features, which I really doubt they'd bother with. I was attempting to say: are you serious?

gorgeous ice cream I bought yesterday: Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie
