The Gold Experience Stage

Is it just me or does anyone else think that the central part of the Gold Experince Stage (the tunnel that Prince walked out through) was ment to be, without putting to finer point on it, an Anus ? :/

It was designed in a Goudy style and the section on the left (Where the drums were) was ment to be a Vagina. The right hand section was a Penis. So, following this theme, the central orafice is an arse hole !!

Here are the options:
1. It was a joke by Prince ?
2. The set designers were having a laugh ?
3. It was just a Spinal Tap style accident ? smile

What do you think ?

(Can anyone can give a link to a photo of the stage?)

It was intentionally designed that way...
IIRC the centerpiece was to represent a womb

Er... no! Read your program... it is based on the part of the body to do with endorphines.

Also just out of interest... The centre piece, behind the curtain where Prince kept disappearing was the mixing desk which (4 the first time) Prince decided to do all by himself... apparently.

That would be the brain...
But anyway, some sketches for the stage say "Vagina", "Womb", "Penis" and the stage's name was "The Endorphin Machine"...
