Which albums do you like better. The albums Prince records by himself, playing all the instruments, or the albums he records with a band in which he mostly just sings and plays a bit of guitar? This is just off the top of my head, but here's a quick list.

I've always thought that the albums recorded solo, especially early in his career, came off as better and more personal. The albums with bands, as a rule of thumb, as recorded VERY quickly and the song arrangements sometimes suffer.
