I just saw a show by MTV called "Bumped Up".

It's about the "artist" and 3 groups of that artist's fans.

Each group of fans (usually 3 fans per group) is guaranteed very good seats 2 that artist's show, but only one of the fan's group gets 2 get "bumped up" 2 FRONT ROW SEATING, BACKSTAGE PASSES, LIMO RIDE 2 & FROM THE CONCERT, SHOPPING SPREE AT THE GIFT CENTER, MEETING THE ARTIST BACKSTAGE AFTER THE SHOW, ETC...

The fans apparently try to explain 2 the producers why they r deserving of this honor...and I don't know how, but the producers pick the winner.

The fans r xtatic, the artist is filmed throughout the day preparing 4 this particular show, and autographs pics 4 the other 2 fan groups that don't get "bumped up"...and the whole thing is filmed 4 our viewing pleasure.

I would love 2 b in something like this with Prince...do u think if MTV approached him, he'd b willing 2 do this?

Absolutely,POSITIVELY NOT! It sounds STupid!

I doubt it, knowing Prince's relationship with MTV, not to mention his feelings toward them.

MTV is very much focused on the "hot" artists (Britney, Shakira, Nelly, J.Lo, etc) right now and I highly doubt they would even consider approaching Prince for this show. In their minds, he is washed-up...
