I thought the SNL performance of "Fury" was cooler, but it was because I had no idea what to expect. And to see him the a Strat..that was pretty cool. I thought the enitre Brits show was great...Prince, Paul Weller, James Blunt...EVERYONE. Their shows are SO much cooler than the award shows here. Even Kelly Clarkson kicked much ass.

Yea, the flow of their show is cool nod

I noticed you didn't mention Kanye poke He did good too, how many gold women were there exactly? biggrin

But here's my question: what's w/ the Gorillaz? confused Is it one dude? Is it a group? Do they rap? Is it a children's choir? What's w/ the cartoons? Somebody 'splain that shit to me 'cause I don't get it neutral

Gorillaz is a group - the idea was that the band is "fictional", made up of cartoon characters drawn by Jamie Hewlett (a British comic-book artist, he used to draw for classic British sci-fi comic 2000AD and he also created stuff like Tank Girl and Hewligans Haircut).

The actual group was made up of people such as Damon Albarn from Blur, but has also in the past included people like Del tha Funkee Homosapien, Dan "The Automator" Nakamura, and Miho Hatori from Cibo Matto. The lineup has changed a bit from album to album though. De La Soul were on a song on their most recent album, for example.

You can also hear Damon, Del tha funkee homosapien, Dan Nakumura etc collaborating on stuff like Deltron 3030 (which is a crazy, fun album and well worth checking out).

Gorillaz have had some great tunes, though I only really know them from their collaborations with Del and De La.
