I am 23. I first heard Prince when the Diamonds and Pearls album came out...my sister had the cassette tape of it. But I became a true fan about 3+yrs ago, my best friend got me back into Prince again. Plus, I had been hearing a few of his old songs on the radio. I guess you might say that was the bait and I got pulled in once again. And I am here to stay! I admire Prince for his ability to write his own lyrics/music and to be able to sing them like he really means it. It's hard to find anyone in comparison to him! And I got my other sister(not the one I got the tape from) into listening to Prince and she's planning on coming with me next year to the Celebration if he has it again. My sis is 20.

Doesnt matter the age, just how strong the luv is!

I liked 1999 & loved Purple Rain so I immediately bought all his stuff in 1984 (age 14). I remember checking the record store for 12" singles everytime I went to the mall. It's all good.
