Music in 1987 There will never be a better year, musically.
Sign o' the Times Bad Faith Those are three top albums right here. I know everyone hates 'Bad', but I don't think it's all that bad (no pun intended). And I was wondering what Prince fans think of George Michael, seeing as though I can't find any topics. Yeah this is a crappy first post, sorry.

For a second there, I thought you lumped "Bad" into the same category as SOTT.

No. I'm just saying, look at the albums that were out in that one year.
Now we're lucky if we get one semi-decent album each year. I mean come on, The Arctic Monkeys? I've listened to them and I still can't work out why it's popular. They sound exactly like every other band, even local bands I've seen in the UK. Yet it's meant to be the best album ever since Jesus was born. At least that's what some people are saying. I just say to them, 'What's underneath your hair? Is there anybody livin' there?' [Edited 4/28/06 10:10am]

I can think of much better albums than Bad and Faith released that year.
