Prince's Purple Rain. I can remember thinking when I first got it, at age 14, that it was an absolute perfect album.

Also: TTD's Symphony or Damn & Tom Waits' Bone Machine.

"Fever" is flawless! It's 12 classic club dubs! janet. may get boring with excessive interludes, but the 3 I mentioned are sequenced well, in my opinion.

PINKSPIDER

PRINCE:

Dirty Mind and Controversy, those albums are my personal favorite Dirty Mind with it's straight fowardness he definatly didn't beat around the bush with that album. Controversy, everything on that album was amazing 2 me.

The Cure:

Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me and Disintegration, Disentegration speaks 4 itself.

Duran Duran:

Essientials, those outakes really defined the band as the "new romantic era" and it had Girls on Film (Night Version) on there that edit was awesome especially the drumming.

IMO most of U are misunderstanding word PERFECT. If somebody for example, considers lets's say, David Bowie's both Alladin Sane (a masterpiece) and Earthling (quite interesting, immediately outdated) as perfect... rolleyes
(((nothing personal, Moonbeam, just an example)))

I mean, whats the point in saying some album Perfect, if you have a list of 100 albums U consider perfect. IMO word perfect is thee BEST quality U can get, and an album who I name Perfect cant have anything, ANYTHING i dont like. Not a song, not a verse.

Yep, and after this preaching, i made my own list, and it became relatively long also wink

But these r the ultimate, non-arguable PERFECT albums.
Some may be missing still...

This is serious, U know..

  • These ones I copy/pasted from Ur lists:

    Prince - Dirty Mind
Prince - Sign O' The Times
    Leatherface - The Last
Husker Du - Candy Apple Grey
    Pixies - DoLittle
    Sigur Ros-Agaetus Byrjen
The Rolling Stones - Exile from Main St
    Beach Boys - Pet Sounds
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
    Jeff Buckley - Grace
    Radiohead - OK Computer, Amnesiac
    The Cure- Disintegration

  • These perfects I couldnt find on Ur lists:

    Pulp: this is hardcore
    Air: 10 000 Hertz
    Posies: Frosting on the Beater
Teenage Fanclub: Songs from the northern britain
Johnny Cash: Live at san quentin
