If Prince releases a new video, for what song do you think it should be?

I hope he does one for Love or Fury.

I'd go with Fury.

I hope, that it will be Fury or Lolita. In that order.
I think 3121 would be too 'hard' for radio and MTV.

I can't wait to see a "Love" video, I just hope the single edit does the track justice. A video for "Incense and Candles" would burn up BET and VH1.

a "love" (radio/video edit)...shave about a minute off of the album version (including the "let's skate" bit and the repeated rap). this song is begging to be a smash hit!

i'm cool with the first rap but the one with the "shake that thing come on, bounce it baby" should just stay on the record. it drags the song on a bit too long for radio/video.

he should pair up another two singles, and release "incense and candles" with a video/single and release "love" as a club single and as a live song he can promote. i like the idea of him releasing singles in twos...since the whole meaning of singles seems to have flown out the window anyway.

Well not exzactly. He just markets them wierd and in strange formats. He is collectable and is for the most part shirking that part of his marketability. Though the BS pic disk was cool (though mine is warped ...no matter I'm framing mine, which was a good suggestion) it was very limited. And mostly the only way you could get it was by Downloading it. Madonna is doing her singles properly this time around with Downloads, extended versions, vinyl...she's making sure that you can get the single in whatever form you want..

Fury is the next single BTW.

3121 would make a great surreal creative video, I'm always imagining it when I listen to this song.

he'd better get someone real talented in this time to make some
video that will capture the vibe of the song.

kinda video but a real vid with a bit of weird artwork.

I've said since the beginning that Prince will release Love as his next single. The last part when he says "Lets Skate" is so set up for a dance scene at the end of the video.

A quality video from either would be nice...but its pretty clear that its no longer about having a hit record because if after Musicology, Call My Name, or Black Sweat they just aren't going to play him. That is until there is some kind of truce with Clear Channel

P has been black balled as far as radio is concerned and thats too bad because if there is an aduience for the Black Eyed Peas, or Andre3000 on POP radio there is clearly room for Prince.

Then again P has seen this before...I mean he didn't exactly kick the door down with 1999, & Little Red Corvette. 1999 did nothing in its first release, Little Red Corvetter and Delirious were only top ten hits when they should have been smashes.

Once again radio is resistant to Prince and it doesn't matter how good the song is....until Universal can get the Clear Channel thing fixed it won't matter

Oh by the way a video of Love featuring Tamar and the twins without an appearance from Prince (sort of like George Michaels in teh Freedom video) or a Fury video featuring Prince playing that freakin guritar and Tamar and the twins dancing would be hot

If P is tryign to get heard the single needs to be I&C or Love...but like I said it won't matter

I think many forget how many styles that man does (compared to other acts that don't or can't) just on one album. It hurts him in terms of marketability and radio play. You certainly would not see a "Fury" or "The Dance" or "Te AMo" on any sorta of R&B record. But that's why he's Prince.

Mine too. When they played it at the record release party, I kept saying to this girl, who hadn't heard it to wait for the "Skating Part". They mixed it out right at that part FU the entire song.
