Does Anyone know who designed the artwork for the cover of the 1999 album? Its his only uncredited album in the covernotes which leads me to belive it was Prince who did it.

Anyone know?

As much as I'd like to say this is a great album cover.. to me, it wasn't all that aesthetically pleasing..

However, very interesting to analyze..

I looked at that thing for years and always saw something different..

Where is the arm in the "R" taken from?

I really like this cover btw, it's certainly no great work of art, but it ranks #2 on my list of favorites. It's just fascinating to look at, IMO.

And it also happens to be his commercial breakthrough.

It's almost as if he put his image making on hold and let the music speak for itself. He literally put his "art" and not himself on display.

I was expecting a Prince in space age get up. Almost like a funked up astronaut suit. When it arrived I was "wtf?"

In time I grew to appreciate it.
