I love the cover of 3121. I think it is cool looking and just awesome. I think it is Prince's best cover art since the Batman soundtrack!

I like it and I'm somewhat used to it now but I'm still not crazy about it as a cover. Especially given the music inside.

I still don't understand one thing. Why doesn't he put his name on the cover. I mean ONA, TRC, Musicology and now 3121 do not have Prince written on the cover. WHY ??

Exactly. That and/or his face. If it were re-released with a face pic it would sell to all those who passed it by the first time. With so much stuff screaming at you...nothing really stands out. A familiar face has a better chance than a back. I believe that the honesty of a face that confronts (as opposed to a back) would have been so much better for this CD. Especially for Prince and especially now.

Last month I spoke to one of the girls I met at the Tamar show. I asked if she was going to get the CD on the 21st. She said "if he has a CD coming out, I'm going to get it". Now, she hasn't missed a Prince concert since the 80's and considers herself a big fan but a few days before the 21st she had no idea about it...or she forgot. Anyway, she probably would have passed the CD by too. Maybe thinking "Who's this 3121 guy?"

I think I like it cus it look "Japan-ish" and it reminds me of Kill Bill for some reason. It is fucking cool in my book!

I like it because it's different. Very clean looking. I don't think his name needs to be on there though it is interesting it isn't, especially for him.

Yeah, i like it. If you're in the UK, there's a nice full page ad in 'Echoes' magazine of the album cover (It's got Marvin Gaye on the cover of the mag). pick it up in HMV.
