Free record in belgium didn't have any last week...
Mediamarkt either and they have no idea when they will be in. Same goes for Fnac.

I'm confused about the hype. Is something unreleased on this set?

I saw this thread yesterday and immediately went to the Virgin Megastore in Union Square after work and got a copy. They had them marked down from the $31.99 price to $27.99. I couldn't believe how many copies of the Australian import they had.

Well the songs on it are remastered for one thing. And on the second disc are some long sought ought 12 inches that have sometimes never been put on cd. LRC Dance Mix, Pop Life fresh dance mix, Lets Go Crazy, Lets Work dance mix, Shes Always In My Hair long version and more.

I've seen Virgin do that before--not put a new release on sale that they know will sell the first week to try to get as many people to pay full price as possible before marking it down the following week.

Or it could be that not as many copies were moved as expected prompting them to put it on sale the following week?

Tried the Virgin Megastores and Tower Records in the Dallas area. None of them had it. Amazon.com is selling it as an import for about $23.00 but it takes 4-6 weeks to ship. I purchase a brand new copy from Amazon's marketplace vendor CDQuest.com. It ships within 1-2 business days. I should receive my copy between April 12-16.

most shops i went to weren't allowed to put them on the shelves, some stores had them in the back but wouldnt sell me a copy then i found one store who is selling off what they have..i bought 4 copies..just incase it isnt re-released but i think it will be
