I think even if Prince is rehearsing, the band has shown it is capable of performing on TV so that's no excuse. I'm sure Universal are pushing him to do more promotion, but as usual with Prince, when you push against him he tends to go off in an obtuse direction. I kind of get the feeling with Prince that he tends to think promotion is Universal's job not his, "Hey, I pay you to do this, if I'm promoting it myself, why am I paying you guys!"
