How did Prince manage with that scarf on his face? Wouldn't he get dehydrated? I wish he would release Exodus and the Chocolate Invasion albums in hard copies. Would that be feasible? I hope so.

I think this era will always be the most misunderstood. it's hard not to comment on the fact he's wearing a silly scarf over his face, but on the other hand he and the band and mayte were obviously having a great time doing their own thing, totally revelling in the fact that it was as weird and as funky as hell.

you have to remember Prince was wearing a g-string and a mac back in the day and always was a freaky mofo.

i loved this clip. I think I may have even watched it the night it was first screened. At the time, I think i, like a lot of people, was getting tired of the whole dispute think, but in retrospect I'm beginning to feel this period was as good as any. The Band were totally shit hot. The songs were coming out of his ears. And in Mayte he had literally the most beautiful girl in the world strutting around, goofing off on stand. I thought it was wicked. Thanks for posting this clip.
