The Symbol Album I hadn't listened to it in a while, so I popped it in my pc here at work and remembered why this is one of my all-time fave albums. I feel like Stella Got Her Groove back cuz all of a sudden I feel so inspired and wanna get up and dance. I'm talking full on cardio-heart pumpin dancing and some instant choreography. Inspiration usually hits me when I can't do anything about it. What do you think of or feel like when you listen to it? "When words fail, music speaks..." --- Shakespeare

~Britney Awesomeness! It's nice to know that I'm not the only one. Purple Rain has some of my fave songs, but there is just something about this album that I truly love. Perhaps the mix of emotions or something, but there are some jams that are so funky you can't help BUT dance! "When words fail, music speaks..." --- Shakespeare

The album is my favorite Prince album, by far. I purchased it on the day of release and have never grown tired of it. Love it from beginning to end. Between the lush yet funky arrangements and Prince's display of mature emotions on this set, it really is worthy of attention. I certainly find this album to be an inspiration. Purple Rain... not so much. [Edited 3/31/06 21:13pm]

It just really inspired me today at work and I have not really been able to focus clearly on working hard, though I am getting things done. is just a moving album in my opinion. Purple Rain is my "everybody sing along" album, although "The Beautiful Ones" always pulls a heart string for me from an "ex" moment in time. "When words fail, music speaks..." --- Shakespeare

yea i gota say that the mourning papers alays gives me chance to exercise my vocals on a wet monday morning remembering how it felt to fall in love for he first time as a kid. I love the highs pitches at the end of Love to the Nines.
And to finish off with 3 Chains of Gold like an opera loud and powerful. this is an album you put away for a year, then dig it out, it's like finding one eyed willie's treasure

It's good to know that this album is a favorite among many. I'm glad I remembered to bring it with me again to work. I'm listening to the B-Sides right now, but I'm itchin' to hear Love 2 the 9's again. "When words fail, music speaks..." --- Shakespeare
