Prince need airplay or the 3121 will fall right out of the top 10, Quick!
Maybe we need to buy the album again with the same intensity as the fist week.
So Prince can stay in the top ten for at least four more weeks in order to go platium or better.

TI has a new album, and according to buzz, Prince off the chart next week.

That's part of what makes the #1 debut so incredible. He did it with basically no airplay of 3121.
And so far the only promotion he's done, in this country, is SNL and the Tower Records gig. And the Purple Ticket contest.
I mean, obviously he needs radio airplay, but I wouldn't hold my breath for that one. Let's just enjoy the fact Prince debuted at #1 and keep enjoying 3121.
And of course look forward to the tour.

I agree. Radio, for whatever reason, is treating Black Sweat like the black plague. I'm in St.Louis and if Tom Joyner doesn't play BS it doesn't get played. I'm sure Universal and Prince have some things planned to keep Prince in the top 10 after TI's album and movie drops, remixes, tv, something. We shall see.

I appreciate that and yes i'm proud of Prince as well, however with an output such as the 3121 and no airplay or platium status, major label will give up on the purple one and we may never see another top ten record from Prince ever again let alone on a major and that's is what i'm afraid of.
