I was part of the Lovesexy era tour, but it begins with an odd poem about touching a light. Then it goes into I no. 'A pillow covered in all our tears'

That was 'cross the line' which was part of the set list and part of every gig-NOW if indeed say he had played 'cross the line' at say wembley for the opening song or after escape-THAT WOULD BE A "ODD SHOW OPENING SONG/NOT ADHERING TO THE SET LIST-do you get it? ahem.....

One night on the PR tour at The Forum, (I attended two), P opened up with "17 Days' and played it BEHIND the curtain. THEN, they did "Let's Go Crazy". SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."
nammie "What BGZ says I believe. I have the biggest crush on him." http://ccoshea19.googlepa...ssanctuary http://ccoshea19.googlepages.com

One of the ONA shows started off with One Night Alone I believe rather than the usual Rainbow Children. I think an acoustic guitar segment featuring Don't Play Me,Elephants and Flowers,Pink Cashmere and 7 started off another show.
One of the Act 1 tour shows started off with the opening of the normal 2nd half of the show opening(Let's Go Crazy) rather than the usual opener for the first half of the show(My Name is Prince). One of the New Power Soul festival concerts featured The One as the opener rather than the usual Push It Up. Those are a few that come to mind off the top of my head.

I’m thinkin’ it was the Louisville ONA tour where the typical house music (Xenophobia/Xpectation album) paused and Prince started the show not with Rainbow Children but the piano medley… I mean, the house lights were still on and there were people still milling around and all of a sudden, the curtain goes up and there was P just sitting there behind that Mercedes grill. That was the only time I saw or read that happened…
I also thought I heard the band playing along with the house music (Xenophobia) at another ONA but I forget which one. Maybe second round in Chicago?
