According to Billboard Magazine it went to # 3. It did go to #1 on the R&B album chart however | |

Nope,it peaked at Number 3.The single "Cream",however,did go to Number One on the pop charts. | |

According to Uptown's The Vault, D&P peaked at #3 on the Billboard Charts and #1 on the Rnb charts as newpower99 said. Perhaps it wasn't made clear in other Uptown publications. | |

Diamonds and Pearls was Princes only number 1 album in Australia. When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading. | |

Diamonds And Pearls definitely peaked at number three on Billboard's Pop albums charts and #1 on the R&B chart. Per Nilson was incorrect if he stated otherwise. | |
