There is yet another version of 'Computer Blue' doing the round amongst collectors which, according to TURN IT UP 0.2, clocks up to nearly 12 minutes and is described as "the most instrumental" of the lot.(This version, by the way, is not the 'St Louis Warehouse version' but yet another 'Sunset Sound' studio version')
Has anybody currently posting on this thread actually heard it? "You don't frighten us, English pig dogs. Go and boil your bottoms, sons of a silly person."

Looking back on your responses it seems that yes it is obvious that the tunes are the same...I guess I was just trying to be an active member of the org...and also because I was sick of topics that dealt with 'who is the sexiest 'orger' etc. I am sorry if I offended anyone. I was just wondering if someone had something to add to the observation that most of us had made about the song, since song interpretation can be a great use for the org.
I am only 22, but I am dedicated to the cause. I can honestly say that I am a better person for having been a prince fan. I apologize for wasting your time. I will do better next time. Has anybody currently posting on this thread actually heard it? Yeah..some letter guy has it in pristine stereo quality and it can also be heard on Fantasia or Cosmos I believe. "Climb in my fur."

Oh don't be discouraged. It's a good question just a bit dated. In 1984 it would have been a great question. Considering your age though it's understandable. Stuff like this happens to everybody. Check out the misheard lyrics thread. http://www.prince.org/msg...&tid=18509 Some folks been listening to Prince for twenty-plus years and are just figuring out the lyrics to Erotic City... obligatoryeditstatementgoeshere [This message was edited Fri Jul 19 12:27:17 PDT 2002 by Universaluv]

Thank you 'TheSkinMechanic.' That is how I feel also. I don't have a lot of venues to make up for the fact that I was only one year old when 'Controversy' came out. Thank you. I can gurantee you that I will never be pompous when it comes to prince...I just like it when other people show interest. maybe if some people feel the need to be pompous, they should reevaluate the reasons they are on the org.
