If I'm Correct...those #'s For Prince, DM, and Controversy in the US are XTREMELY low, or missing a digit...and ATWIAD sold 3 mil.... SOTT is at 2 mil

atwiad sold over 3million shortly after release in the u.s., its current figure is around 4.5million. dirty mind and controversy also sold far more copies. a few years ago prince surpassed the 38million mark that was before TVBOP, MUSICOLOGY, 3121 AND ALL OTHER NON-LABEL RELEASES. His actual total is well over 40million now, id say around 41.5 with the impending sales of 3121.

That puts him around the 18-22 position on best selling artists in the U.S. ever.

I don't think Hits/Bsides sold that many did it? I think you need to differentiate between numbers shipped (ie certifications) and numbers SOLD.

Hits 1 and 2 are platinum, ie they shipped 300k each. Hits/Bsides is just silver, meaning 60k.
