Yes it does way better! But it does have a similar tune. "Man, the living creature, the creating individual, is always more important than any established style or system" - Bruce Lee

I think it's the pause between the music and the first lyric that is in common with S&W. When i first heard it, i kept asking myself where i had heard that technique before!!

As for sounding "alike"...no. But, I do believe P has made it a point to reference the "vibe" of "Soft & Wet" on "Lolita".
As I've said before, I think P intentionally made the song recognizable by way of paying homage to his older material...as if to say "...remember this?"...in order to get the older fans to feel a sense of nostalgia when listening to it for the first time. It also would appeal to those younger fans who yearn to experience the days when Prince was in his "prime" (very subjective word, I know). All-in-all, I feel "Lolita"...although it borrows from the past...can and does have modern relevance in the scope of the "3121" CD... Just my 2 cents.

Not really.
But the "vibe", as said here, might be similar.

Yall must be on Crack
Thats the first thing i thought when i heard it, that and the little time vibe on the end Of course its not the same song, but its close enuff to make you think of it and besides that one satisfied reminds me of On the Couch- which is a bad thing and the Dance reminds me of the beautiful one-which is a great thing
