Will the next single receive proper airplay? Do u think Prince's next single will receive proper airplay now that he has some positive buzz?

I sure hope so. It's about fucking time that radio does the right thing. Unfortunately, radio is dead in the water so don't hold your breath. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

No. Airplay cost $$$$ and I don't see Prince forking over $$$ for airplay.

Though it's much deserved, I don;t think it'll get much if any at all. With Musicology, I only heard the title cut and Call My Name on the radio. I would love to hear Black Sweat get airplay, but I don't think it'll happen. I've only seen it on VH1 and BET, but never on the radio.

No. Airplay cost $$$$ and I don't see Prince forking over $$$ for airplay. This is an incomplete thought. Prince's label (and viryually any one else involved with the production of the album) wants radio play even if Prince doesn't... and i see no reason for beleiving he wouldn't want any. Why? 'cause in the long run radio play equals mo' $$$$ If you want to make money... you must spend money!!! there are a few very 'radio; friendly tracks on this album which could translate into big salesand an album which is both a critical sucesss and commercial sucess. If he releases something ehich would be hard to recieve by the casual fan... then no... airplay may not result nor would sales..yadda yadda yadda. If one of the right singles are released... then there is a chance... a strong chance.
