Black Sweat - I break out dancing - can not help it. and I think it sounds modern. I was in a club/lounge in New York this weekend and the D.J. played it!!! I was like  .
The Dance - classic begging but arrogant at the same time Prince. 
Incense & Candles - sexy prince Te Amo Crozan - I always thought that had a subltely sexy beat. | |

The music in Fury most definately reels back to wonder hit 1999. Listen to the keyboard chords and rhythm. 3121 has a music subliming Forever in My Life. Love has that Take me With U feel. Satisfied is another p song trying to be another adore, but has missed the mark. Lolita reminds me of Sexy MF, for some reason.
But all of the tunes have a modern freshness brought to the plate, something p has had the ability to do and has been needing to do forever and a day. This album will not be the bench mark that 1999 was, and p will never peak the Purple Stain that would haunt me forever if i peaked that young. I don't even think it will get him in with younger generation, but it is much NEEDED by us, his ever supporting family base. We are all so full of  here | |

I'm almost feel guilty about ever doubting Prince. Damn P. I apoligize. He's kickin my ASS with this CD and I can't get enough. It's my Crack and I'm ready for anotha fix. This shit is Blazing. Sorry, back to the topic. I dig the hell out of 3121. Once again a track waaay ahead of it's time. 5 years from now when I play this on a road trip. I'm gonna be at AWE!

After about five to seven listens - I'd say "Fury" and "The Dance" followed closely by "The Word". ...I am so picky - I like "Love" but the lyrics about "...drama - `cause we have a good time" turn me off. ...If there were no rap in Incense and Candles, I would like it better as well. I may edit my own 'no rap' version. | |

Many people vote The Boat as one of their least faves. I found the secret to liking this song.... Listen to the music and forget the lyrics. When the main song part of this cut is over and maceo begins to tear it up, this latino style groove is killer.
I have found no way to enjoy Satisfied. Sorry. My one year old daughter dances to Love and Lolita. We are all so full of here | |
