I dont feel that at all, but if BLB was sung with Beyonce....it would be a #1 radio hit with the masses. Thats a shame, cause the song is classic P and should be recognized as such. I dont think Beyonce is a great vocalist, but her name would at least make the "youngins" sit down and listen to a Master's work. Now, it's a longshot that the young MTV audience will ever appreciate a classic like this. The arrangement and vocal blending on this track is as good as anything that P has put out in a long while. Tamar does a good job, but her credibility will always put the song in that "maybe" catagory. It sucks to say that, but thats the state of today's music scene. "If you wanna feel the FUNK....then you have to know the SOUL!!!"-----(Up and Down...just like a seesaw, Back and Forth...oh girl I'm fallin)

For some reason it reminds me of a cross between a Mayte song and "Love Sign"... • Did you first think Prince was gay? •
Wendy: He’s a girl, for sure, but he’s not gay. He looked at me like a gay woman would look at another woman. Lisa: Totally. He’s like a fancy lesbian.

Yeah, I give passing grades to BL&B as well. Prince was never convincing as a mentor--he always Prince-ified his proteges--but this time out it seems like he's letting his pupil be herself and grow at her own pace.

I sorta get you there, but to me, Wasted Kisses was too eerie even for me, who likes the loudest head-bangin' metal there is. It was kinda like the last gasp of his old self, and probably best left not revisited.

I think Beyonce would be great on this joint.
Is it only me who thinks this is one of the best tracks on the album? Call me an old school MF, but it's got a clearly defined verse and chorus - one of the few melodic tracks on the album...
