Would he look better in his older years with or without the make-up?

Depends. Makeup done properly can look great on anybody of any age. Choose the shades and application techniques with the person's skin tone, the lighting, the mood and look you want to create, and the subject's individual style in mind and it can work.

Prince is a good looking individual with fairly unique features. I'm sure he looks good without makeup, though I don't recall ever seeing him without save childhood and high school photos.

Of course, he looks great with makeup too. Usually anyway. He's got issues with foundation. The guy has the money to have the best makeup artists and makeup product at his disposal, yet his foundation still comes out looking like the Dollar Store variety half the time.

And for the love of God, NO, Prince should not quit wearing makeup just because he's getting older.

I can't believe the number of people I've heard suggest he shouldn't swear any more; shouldn't sing about sex anymore; shouldn't wear makeup anymore; shouldn't wear girly clothes anymore; shouldn't;shouldn't;shouldn't "at his age".

Prince should always wear make-up, wear heels, and never look "normal". Hell, someone should look like an individual these days and besides, a star should look like a star.

Can't find it now, but I recall seeing a photo of Prince behind the soundboard around '88 or '89 with very little make-up and some stubble... Thought he looked great... I'm surprised how many old fans around here think that Prince's look is still fresh or cool... I love the man but he is going the way of James Brown or Little Richard, deserately trying to hold onto a style that worked over 20 years ago.

And lets face it, most of these bitches have makeup on - everytime you see Clooney or Pitt being interviewed (mostly every time), in every movie, etc. they're wearing it. They just don't bother to do their eyes And it would be a crime for Princey not to do those eyes

His press conference returning to the name of Prince seemed like there was practically no makeup, but I can't find the pic!

Found the pics on the year 2000 in the gallery, but I'm too spastic to figure out how to post it here. He's in a white sweater and looks like a regular person (kinda). He looks good! He could stand to tone down the pasty face he's been wearing and lighten up a little on the foundation, he'd still look good.

I'm a big fan of the makeup job on his eyes in the 3121 promo shots. Looks like mascara, eyeliner, and a bronze-y eyeshadow. Lovely.
