I think "The Word" would definitely be risky, but it would stand out. People really, really respond to this song... if it had the right video to go with it, it could hit with people like some combination of "7", "Space" and "Purple Rain." But who knows, I would hate to see his current momentum stall if it didn't go over the right way.
"Love" is my favorite song in ages, really, I just wonder if it's a single or not... mainly because I'm concerned about what an edit of it would sound like, without both breakdowns, etc. I have a feeling he'll choose "Lolita" regardless. ...: s l o w l y c a n d l e b u r n s :... | |

I think this song will get play because most of the music you hear now has that same vibe. It definitely will be heard more on the R&B stations. This is not one of his strongest songs, but i do think if released as a single it would do ok. I like it regardless. | |
