I just had a fucked up thought. I remember reading that Susannah was dating some guy in LA, and Prince was frustrated that she didn't leave this guy for him straight away, and he wrote "Beautiful Ones" about that.
Well, imagine if you were that guy, and you knew that P was trying to muscle in on your girl, and then you heard the song and immediately knew that the contest was over, and you just lost your shit. How fucked up would you feel upon hearing that song? I mean damn man that shit is just cold. LOL. |
