Michael Jackson Solo cd vs a Prince solo cd

We have all heard a cd where Prince wrote, produced, arranged and recorded everthing on the project. I'd pay big money to hear a cd produced by Michael Jackson where he does everything. It would probaly sound like this, " ".

Michael Jackson owes his solo success to Quincy Jones.

I dig MJ, but the claim that he is a better piano player than Prince is insane. Where have ya'll even seen the brother play piano on stage. The keys are like an extension of Prince's body.

Well on Bad he wrote 7 of the 9 songs and co-produced it aswell. Also he composed the music to all the songs he wrote himself. The starter of this thread is stupid!!

Co produced and composing is not the same as RECORDING, COMPOSING, and PRODUCING everything.

So what? Most artists don't do that, why single out Michael Jackson?

I started this thread separate from the other thread simply because all of these clowns keep trying to compare apples and oranges when it comes to these 2 artist. MJ is a great entertainer, singer, dancer, etc. Prince is all of those things and a top notch musician as well. If people want to continue to compare the 2, let's make it even. We all ready have plenty of material from Prince where he has exercised the entire creative process from start to finish by himself. If they want to keep comparing MJ, I'd love to see MJ do the same thing. Then, at least in my mind, we would be comparing apples to apples.....so to speak.

I RESENT THAT YOU PERSON YOU!

LET ME SAY THIS... I'VE BEEN A MICHAEL JACKSON MOST OF MY YOUNG LIFE. I AM FREE AND ALONG WITH EVERY OTHER PERSON ON HERE TO SUPPORT WHOM EVER WE WANT.

I just became a dedicated Prince fan. But I'm not just going to drop Michael Jackson, because he has inspired me in many many ways. (Yeah go ahead and laugh, many people look at me like I'm silly when I tell them I'm a Prince fan too... so don't go there...)

However the point is... there are many Michael Jackson fans who are Prince fans and I take that as a compliment because when I tell my friends I'm a fan of both I tell them because these both of these artist created classics that are consistenly referenced in albums of today!
