this is a fake, bought an import ultimate prince yesterday in the virgin megastore at times square.

do like it, esp the second disc with 12" and dance remixes.

I'll believe it when I see it. That tracklisting is an old tracklisting which Tangerine17 posted ages ago (sorry, can't find the thread anymore) It later changed (with the suggestion it was at Prince's request) removing Purple Medley and Erotic City, until it ended up with the tracklist that was on the released but withdrawn CD. Tangerine's info was 100% correct as far at the tracklisting goes. I really can't believe they've re-done the CD and gone back to an old tracklisting and redone the cover without Tangerine knowing about it - since he was involved in the artwork!

I think this is a case of old incorrect information being used. You always think big companies should be in the know, but often they're not. I don't even believe the release date, I think they are gonna just keep putting it back and back and still take orders for it. See if I'm wrong.

I tried posting this last week, but for all of the Chicago area fans, they had Ultimate on sale as an import for $31.99 at the Virgin MegaStore on Michigan Ave.
