uneven? very... but the first prince album i have really liked since TGE

2. Musicology C+
well... not great, but a step in a better direction

3. One Night Alone C-
the religious content REALLY pissed me off, and not big on the arrangements of many of the older songs. listened to it once, became a very expensive coaster.

4. The Rainbow Children D+
very conflicted on this one. i love the smooth and jazzy sound of the actual music, but HATE the preaching and DESPISE the vader voice, which i cant understand more often than not. this album is such wasted potential, it frusterates me.

5. NEWS F
i listen to it, because it is good for helping me get to sleep at ngiht, and no, i ma not being a smartass.

2. 3121 - ***** This should have been called the Return of the Bumpsquad

3. Musicology - **** Very good songs here.

4. One Nite Alone - **** Nice concept album...very mellow

5. NEWS - *** I still haven't listened to this in it's entirety...I likes me

But I also have a soft spot for Newpower Soul. I'd give it a C-.

2. One Night Alone - D - Sorry Prince, But I wish you had been alone.....
3. Musicology - B - A great attempt that fell down at the last minute, The opening track promises sooo much.....Then until Cinnamon Girl and Reflection it just drops to the floor.....
4. NEWS- B - I like this, because it is different - Not great just something daringly different.
5. 3121- A- I love this, not just cuz its new....I can see me listening to this in 5 / 10 years and tapping my arthiritic hands and feet to the beat
