Dreamin' About U I consider this Prince's best ballad...
Now I have currently made a playlist on my I-tunes just for his slow songs, and wow he has some amazing stuff as U all know, but this one is just BEAUTIFUL, no other word could descride this song.. Ok U have "If i was your girlfriend" which i condsider to be one of his most orginal songs, and greasted, but not beautiful.. "Adore" Is fantastic, But i dont feel warm inside after 
"She loves me for me" Is the most i had trouble with, i love this song to bites, but "Dreamin' about U" has the edge.. I just feel "Dreamin' About U" was prince at his hight of bein in love, and just let it out with this track.... Pure BEAUTIFUL! Discuss! Keenmeister |

It's not my absolute favorite, but I do love it and feel that it should receive more accolades. I love the way he both speaks and sings on it and the sax definately creates a sultry atmosphere. | |

Its a decent song but there are probably 3 dozen Prince ballads that I would consider better than this one. Of course, Im being subjective. | |

Except for Te Amo, all of my favorite Prince love songs are on Emancipation. His voice on Dreamin' About U is to die for. Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise. | |

I think Dreamin About U is one of the highlights of Emancipation. It is a beautiful ballad, incredibly crafted and performed. If Emancipation was compressed into a single album this would definitely appear in the first 6 songs for me. | |

Great song, I like it a lot... It almost feels like a transitional track to me, as I can't imagine going straight from Curious Child to Joint 2 Joint - Dreamin' About U feels like it really belongs there. | |

I agree. I always felt that Dreamin About U, Joint 2 Joint and The Holy River were linked, not only by the music but also the lyrics. I love the way they flow together. | |
