Prince on Top of the Pops 03/26/06 Sunday, 26th March on BBC Two, 7.00 pm C.E.T.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/totp/whos_on/ Prince 'Black Sweat' This chap's had more pseudonyms than a top spy in Mi5, but then spies don't appear on the Pops as often. He's been known as New Power Generation, The Artist, TAFKAP and a bizarre symbol, but this week, back on the show for the first time since 1999, he will mostly just be Prince, showing his new video. i forgot all about this. I heard that Prince had recorded a short presentation to go with it. Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

Unfortunately the days of TOTP having an influence on any charts are so over. Cyndi Lauper and Pink were pretty cool tonight though gotta say. |
