"Love" has gotta be the next single off of 3121.

In fact, I reckon it should've been the lead single, it's better than Black Sweat (or Te Amo Corazon).

Whenever I hear this track, I can visualise the video for the song in my mind, and I could see Prince just blowing everyone away.

There is just something magically groovy about "Love", it's by far my most-listened track of 3121 after a week.

The chorus is soaring and uplifting - gives me that same light feeling that I get when I play "Mountains" off of Parade.


I love that sound that comes at 1:31 on the track

"Love is not a game you play on the floor, you gotta..." DER DER! "..keeping store".

"You better..." DER DER! "...stop and walk out the door!"

That sound gives me the 80s Prince feel.

Also love the "Shake that thang come on....BOUNCE!" towards the end of the track - picture what a butt-wiggling video this would be.

Commerical Success = release "LOVE" as the next single, in my opinion.

I believe anyone with any communication experence or tranning would disagree with you.

This isn't to say it is not a good song. It is. It is not a good song for several reasons to be put out as a single.

Lollita would be a great single. It is shorter, up beat and has a message or several that can be associated within a good crosssection of the target groups in a market.

I agree "LOVE" should be the next single, thou I think Prince made a good choice with "Black Sweat" and "Te Amo Corazon".

Their both really good songs, most of you would say not!
But the fact is...Te Am ...came at a good time in december, end of the year, very laid back and holiday-ish!

The video was shown over and over again with Prince, Salma and Mia Interview snippets on VH1 and VH1 Soul!

Which prepped for "3121". I dug the video and single alot!

"Black Sweat" just came out of no where and was an instant MTV/BET/VH1 video hit!
Til this day, its still being played numerous times throughout the day on Video Networks. Which also leads into the new album, because alot of non-prince fans like this song!

The Spring is near and its time to roll out more videos and more singles.
"LOVE" would be a great next single because its coming at a time when its about riding around with your windows down, radio stations will most likely ignore it, unless Prince gets on the phone and call them! lol
But its still gonna be a great video for MTV, VH1 and BET!

Surprisingly I'm looking forward to the B,L& B video featuring Tamar!
I know its gonna be hott!

I also want a hott video for "Fury", "Lolita", "Incense & Candles", and the final video to be "The Word".
Its kinda hard to say, what the next video will be, but i think Prince will give us a great package which ever he chooses next!

Now where's the tour and some tv appearances to promote these new songs, cause the album is on FIRE!!!

It would probably do okay... I'm sure he'll try to pull out lolita.

I think a couple of singles is enough. Let's get the new single out for Prince's next forthcoming CD.

Actually , Lolitta is so catchy, may catch fire on radio, very different than whats out there now.

The Word is pretty darn catchy too, nice melody

Love would be a good choice for the next single, but it would have to be edited because it is 5:45 minutes long. Does radio even play songs that long now?

Love has to be the new single...i love this song too!!!

Lolita is not catchy enough for a single ..doesn`t have a chorus....you cannot dance to lolita...not that i don`t like the song, but it would flop...

lets skate. remember the video was shot even before TAC, remember he was on location somewhere that included a skating rink?. Trust me , it's "love" and there will be a roller skate breakdown on the end of the video.

I don't think so. If it's released people will bag out Prince for trying to be like Michael Jackson.

Fury should be the next single.

3121, The Word and Insense & Candles also deserve single releases.

But not Love, too Michaelish. But then again, so are most songs on the radio at the moment so it's not like people aren't used to songs sounding like Michael Jackson rejects.
